Premier Steven Miles

Australian Labor Party

Growing up in Brisbane, the son of a fitter at Golden Circle cannery and a work place health and safety inspector,  Steven Miles is the Member for Murrumba and Queensland Premier. Steven has dedicated his life to standing up for the rights of working people. He stood up for Queensland workers who were being sacked by Campbell Newman under his LNP Government. This fight motivated him to run for Parliament in 2015, since then he has been part of the Labor team that has restored the frontline workers sacked by the LNP.

David Crisafulli

David Frank Crisafulli is the current leader of the Opposition in Queensland, holding office as the leader of the Liberal National Party since November 2020. He has been the member of the Legislative Assembly for Broadwater since 2017. Like many Queenslanders, David's story starts with a migrant family. In 1960 his father left his homeland of Italy for North Queensland. Restoring Queensland’s opportunity is what drives David. An LNP Government will do this by providing stability and governing with integrity.
