These Terms of Service ('Terms') apply to your access to and use of websites and other online services (collectively, the 'Services') provided by the Australian Labor Party State of Queensland (the 'ALP'). By accessing and using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

Privacy Policy
For information about how we collect, use, and share information, please see our Privacy Policy.
Data Protection
Consistent with requirements set forth by the Electoral Act 1992, and the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1915, the Services herein will process, transfer, and store information using facilities located in Australia.
Information Accuracy
The Services on this site offer functionality to search for a given electoral district, receive notifications and check materials relating to elections in Australia. Voter registration is facilitated through the Services by directing you to the applicable voter registration form. The user of the Service is solely responsible for completing any voter registration forms on third-party websites. The Services herein are regularly checked to ensure the information provided is accurate, up-to-date and complete and that the tools we offer, such as the electorate lookup and reminder notifications, operate as intended. However, we cannot guarantee and make no representations regarding the accuracy of such forms, or information, or the operation of the Services. The features offered through the Services, as well as the information and materials on the Services, are provided 'as is', and you are solely responsible for assuring that any registration form submitted to a third-party once leaving the Services is properly entered.
Ownership and Trademarks

The Services, including all content contained therein, are owned by the ALP, or our licensor where appropriate, and are protected under both Australian and foreign laws. All rights in and to the Services are reserved by the ALP or our licensors, unless explicitly stated in these Terms. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you are hereby granted a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, non-licensable, revocable license to access and use our Services for your own personal, informational, and noncommercial use. Any use of the Services other than as specifically authorized herein, without our prior written permission, is strictly prohibited and will terminate the license granted herein and violate intellectual property rights.

All other trademarks, registered trademarks, product or service names, and company names or logos mentioned or included in the Services are the property of their respective owners. Reference to any products, services, processes or other information, by trade name, trademark, or otherwise does not constitute or imply endorsement, sponsorship or recommendation thereof.

By using the Services, you agree to not violate any applicable law, contract, intellectual property right or other third-party rights. Accordingly, you will not sell, resell, or commercially use the Services; copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, or publicly display all or portions of the Services; modify the Services, remove any proprietary rights notices or markings; use the Services other than for their intended purpose or in any manner that could interfere with, disrupt, negatively affect or inhibit others from using the Services, or that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the performance of the Services; use any data mining, automated software or similar techniques to scrape and/or extract data from the Services; or use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or engage in, encourage, or promote any activity that violates these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the ALP, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers and agents be liable to users of the Services for any direct or indirect damages, costs, liabilities and expenses ('Claims') arising out of, or related to, accessing and/or using the Services, including in cases whereby the user has violated these Terms of Service.

Applicable Law

By using these Services, the user accepts the exclusive jurisdiction of Queensland for all disputes arising out of or related to these Terms.
